Are there any dangers for my child when using a wireless alarm to treat bedwetting?

As a parent, it is important that you ensure that the products your child uses are safe and effective. Bedwetting alarms are completely safe for your child.

Wireless communication, such as the Rodger wireless alarm but also Uriflex and Dri Sleeper, use radio waves to communicate between the transmitter and the receiver. Radio waves do not emit ionising radiation, which could be harmful. Examples of other devices that use wireless communication are baby monitors, garage door openers and cordless home telephones... Most of these radio waves have a range of 5 to 25 metres.

You can also be assured that these alarms have been tested to comply with IECEE standards, IEC 60950-1: 2005 + A1: 2009. IECEE, the IEC Conformity Assessment Scheme for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components, tests and certifies electrical and electronic equipment.

This test applies to electro-medical equipment and also covers risks to patients, equipment operators and maintenance personnel. These wireless bedwetting alarms meet all the strictest levels of safety and performance.

• Treating a child for bedwetting doesn't mean forcing them to wear underwear they don't like. Bed Wet offers a range of very trendy underwear that is adapted to the child's urination area and gender. The results are clear: children are more confident and more involved in their treatment.

Washing method

• We recommend machine washing the underwear at 40°C.
• Tumble dry on a delicate setting or on a clothes line.
• Do not hand wash or spin dry and do not iron.
• Do not use Soupline or Marseille soap to avoid clogging the contacts in the underwear.
• Every month, soak the underwear for 1 hour in 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water to clean the contacts.
