Materials for washable diapers

 
Today, there are a multitude of materials used in the manufacture of cloth diapers. Here is a summary of the most commonly used materials in cloth diapers currently manufactured. HEMP It is one of the most absorbent and durable fabrics in the world! Hemp is grown without fertilizers or pesticides, making it organic without the need for the label. One of the most absorbent fabrics in the world and certainly the most resistant natural fabric! Hemp micro-sponge: 47% HEMP / 38% ORGANIC COTTON / 15% POLYESTER BAMBOO It is one of the most absorbent materials! Antibacterial thanks to a unique agent, which remains after several washes. Highly eco-friendly, bamboo is an extremely soft and absorbent fabric. It has antibacterial properties and does not emit unpleasant odors. Bamboo cultivation has no harmful effects on nature, and the manufacturing process meets strict environmental standards. Bamboo micro-sponge: 80% BAMBOO VISCOSE / 20% POLYESTER Bamboo fleece: 70% bamboo viscose made from oekotex bamboo fiber; 30% organic cotton ZORB ® Zorb is a new fabric used for cloth diapers, a blend of natural and synthetic fibers (bamboo, hemp, and microfiber). It is hypoallergenic and non-toxic. Ultra absorbent, it can absorb up to 10x its weight! 20x faster than cotton, bamboo, or hemp. It is manufactured in Canada in a clean environment, with environmentally friendly facilities and working conditions. 70% polyester 30% polyamide TENCEL® Natural and eco-friendly fiber: Tencel is produced from eucalyptus pulp. These trees grow in sustainably managed forests, the plantations are FSC-certified, and the fiber has the PEFC label. Eucalyptus is a fast-growing plant with excellent fiber quality. This makes Tencel easily renewable. It is also biodegradable. Environmentally friendly manufacturing: no use of chemicals, formaldehydes, or toxic solvents. The non-toxic solvent used is recovered and recycled in a closed circuit during spinning, thus saving water and energy. Guarantees: Tencel has obtained Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification and the European Eco-label Its characteristics: Comfortable and soft as silk, Tencel remains supple after wash. It absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton and wicks moisture away from the diaper. This keeps baby's bottom cooler and drier, for greater well-being.
