Bedwetting: What are your New Year’s resolutions?

Each new year is an opportunity to set a goal that you want to achieve during the year. So for children, it will be to have an average of over 19, to become a junior champion in their region, a doctor, a lawyer... It is important to remember that you have to know how to set achievable goals that make you happy. What's the point of wanting an average of 19 if 16 is already a challenge for them. The main thing is to do it for yourself and not just for others. Some of our young members would like this new year to be the year bedwetting disappears. We congratulate them and will do everything necessary to help them achieve this goal. But first of all, we're going to remind you of some tips to help you understand that bedwetting can be managed in different ways and in several stages. Wanting to be dry at night and being able to be dry are two very different things. And it has nothing to do with the ability to become dry. But not all children are ready to become dry independently yet, and that's still completely normal. It's part of their development, and forcing them to rush things is very often a source of disappointment for their family, and especially for the child, who will then experience it as a failure and be less willing to try again later. If your child does not show any interest, you should instead turn to comfort products that will allow them to sleep well and make daily life easier. For these children, it may be interesting to propose the following objectives: Agree to wear protection or change types of protection Change independently (if he is old enough to do so). Clean the room after bedwetting Change your bed and equip it with new duvet covers Keep a urination diary and record the number of accidents per month. Plan when to buy protection by marking it on your shopping list. Talk to your best friend, a family member... For a start, it's a good start because they will be more independent and will feel like they can better manage their little problem. We are of course at your disposal to help you find the best products for each child and each need. For some, treatment has become a desire and a regular demand . This is therefore the right time to set this goal and take charge of your treatment. Today, treating a child with an alarm is quite simple and quick but requires willpower, regularity and a certain discipline. Start talking to your child to determine their real motivation. Look with them at the different alarms we offer. For the purely technical part, we will help you select the best alarm for them. There are now alarms for rent that are very efficient and greatly reduce the cost of treatment. As you will have understood, this new year is an important year for your child. Whether your child decides to accept wearing pads, upgrade to more effective ones, manage their bedwetting independently, or follow a treatment with an alarm, all of these steps are a source of stress for them. Love them and encourage them in the choice they make. Respect your child's choice and take it one step at a time. The results will come and will be beneficial for the whole family.
