When the doctor examined the child on Saturday, February 24, 2018, and observed marks consistent with the child's account, the child stated that the defendant had called him a "c******" because he had hit a classmate. The mother readily admitted to the diaper incident but was more reluctant to acknowledge hitting the child on the nose.
"He doesn't care about punishments"
During the hearing, the defendant stated: "The only time I slapped him was because he was waking his sister up at 6:30 in the morning and insulting her. We were even called into the school for fighting and insulting his classmates. Yes, I put a pee-filled diaper on his head . He doesn't care about punishments. I love this kid, but I have to make him understand that some things are unacceptable. " The judge made it clear to the defendant that this type of punishment was inadmissible. The court, in accordance with the prosecution's recommendations, sentenced the defendant to six months' imprisonment, suspended . He will have to complete, at his own expense, a parenting course.
