Taking part in a group holiday or camping trip is often an insurmountable ordeal for a child who still wets the bed, to the point that many refuse to go for fear that their problem will be discovered. Camping Schedule It is with this in mind that the association of families of bedwetting children "A L'AISE" has been offering a mini-camping stay for a group of bedwetting children for the past two years. From July 16 to 21, 2018, six children participated in a camp located in the superb region of Périgord Noir. The small group, supervised by three volunteer leaders, pitched their tents at the foot of the Château de BEYNAC on the banks of the Dordogne. The 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls aged 8 to 10, were therefore able to fully experience life close to nature by sharing the joys of camping in a specially designed outdoor structure Living well together and respecting differences were the common thread of this stay for these children, all bedwetting, making wearing diapers at night essential for this type of accommodation. Their common concern was not an obstacle, nor did it mar their vacation, which took place in complete simplicity and without taboo, opening up free expression of their respective bedwetting, each being able to talk about it and share common moments which usually force them to keep secret for fear of outside glances. During this week, children are invited to free themselves from what otherwise confines them. Discussions about the particularity of this group can be discussed with other people or even children who frequent the campsite, always with the aim of raising awareness about bedwetting, which many children share.
