Stopping bedwetting: it's possible

Are you over 5 years old and do you sometimes have little accidents at night?

Know that other children are in the same situation as you. If you're still wetting the bed, it's usually not your fault. It's because your bladder isn't working as it should.

You are between 5 and 15 years old

  • You can just do nothing and wait for it to pass. In general, bedwetting stops for 98% of children by the age of 15 at the latest.

But in the meantime, simple solutions exist:

  • Treatment with alarms (if you feel ready)
  • Wear appropriate absorbent underwear
  • Taking medication

If you are over 15 years old

  • Without medical treatment, you risk continuing to suffer from the same problem for years to come.
  • Talk to your parents and make an appointment with the doctor. Provided you follow his recommendations to the letter, he can help you get rid of your problem for good.
